Strong Roots Co-ordinator Lucy Scurfield was interviewed on Norwich Today,Future Radio, in January 2025. Here is an extract from the interview:

Interviewer: ‘It’s clear from reading the feeback that it means a lot.’

Lucy: ‘Even when there are other allotment holders around , people feel safe and it’s something to do with the expansive space – not feeling trapped, not feeling confined.’

Lucy: ‘It’s instant, taking people out of their head….what’s troubling them…..thoughts going round and round in circles. Look at the birds, the flowers, look at the trees, hear the wind – it’s instant, coming out of your head.’
